I can imagine this, giving you some difficulty, but I think you made the Hylian market scene look very nice! Also, very cute to see Link and Zelda by the fountain!

My dad enjoyed playing the Legend of Zelda (NES) and nearly completed it. Both my brothers played the games, one loved Twilight Princess & Breath of the Wild, the other loved Ocarina of Time.

Last night’s stream was a lot of fun! With a good bit of Legend of Zelda talk, I drew this silly thing based on my recent dabble in Ocarina of Time. Zelda-Moblin reminds us that it’s a secret to everybody.

I’d say art that is consistently on a cartoony exaggerated style, like Rayman Origins, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro or even Earthworm Jim. 👍 (also your Mario and Sonic is good!)

I found some amusement from Sonic Boom, plus I really enjoyed the art direction there. Never watched Prime, but I’m curious to. AoStH is pretty cheesy, I love it. I missed out on most episodes of SatAM, but from what I’ve seen it’s kind of nifty. So in short: probably Sonic Boom.

Bad news everyone. Rachel's car engine is dead. A coolant line burst, our oil tank's filled with water, and it's gotten into the engine. We're lucky it didn't explode on her last night, but this is going to be severely expensive to replace or even get us a new car.

I'd been wanting to do a WYM version of basil-mage's pic ever since I saw it, because that image encapsulates one of the story's themes. Original: bsky.app/profile/basi... #NSWYM

A diagram of a man in his late twenties with a deadpan expression, and a small cartoony humanoid creature wearing a propeller hat and holding a lollipop. Two arrows point from one figure to the other, giving the impression of an ongoing cycle.

Under the man, the text reads, "I need to lock in and prove that I am capable. I need to be taken seriously."

Under the purple guy, the text reads, "I need to stay silly and whimsical, lest I lose the very essence of myself."

Funny enough, that was brought up during the Saturday Supercade reaction. Mario happily shouted out: “Autobots, roll out!” while Luigi reminded Bowser that he once quoted Megatron on Ask Mario years ago. 😆

Jon C. @joncausith.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

As Dext just said, I’d be very happy to see WYM and whatever form you wish to tell it. I am curious about the comic hybrid format that you were discussing: do you mean something like Captain Underpants where the story is illustrated, but there’s still narration down below or something else?

Haha, well actually I had a bit of an Ace Attorney kick back in 2024 into half of 2025, watching some playthroughs and even playing the first game all the way through via the Phoenix Wright Trilogy on Switch! I made a LOT of art and comics based on the series, including this one:

Fun fan theory: Shu Takumi had College!Phoenix showing the glass bottle pendant to everyone in Case 3-1 as a tongue in cheek reference to how most players showing his attorney's badge to every single witness. Old habits die hard, I guess?

Phoenix gushes over the pendant as Mia takes her frustrations of Dahlia Hawthorne's manipulation and evil out on Marvin Grossberg.
