For real, about 25 years ago I did some research that required us to recruit 100 women over 60. We asked their handedness. Almost no-one said they were left handed, but about 12 said they were ambidextrous. They had all been punished for using their left hand at school and forced to use their rigjt

Yeah, in 1974 freezers were a novelty, so advertising frozen turkey 2-3 months before Christmas would have literally been cool and Bejam would have had an open field against the main supermarkets. I remember our whole family going to Carters in Strood as a novelty, just to buy frozen mousse

Played the JD RPG to bits, but tbh it didn't reflect the JD world very well. An average judge had a 30% chance of hitting a perp 10 metres away (40% if you aim), and a 1 in 6 chance to wound him. To inflict 2 wounds would take an average of 40 shots. Felt Spacemaster would have done a better job.

This is an RSA typing thing, on an actual typewriter. Not a word processor thing, though i may drunkenly recall that 90's Word may have automatically put in a longer space after a full stop, and this was reduced to an option in later versions. Not seen it since

Earliest clinical paper I can find on pubmed with perimenopause in the title was published in German in 1953- [Experience in the treatment of perimenopausal women with estrogen-androgen combinations]. GEESE KA, et al. Earliest in English 1961. 493 papers since. But sure, Wired, it's a buzzword.
