You might have more experience with Pages. What capabilities have been lost in recent years? I only did my last novel in Pages (and convinced my editor to use it), and we both agreed it was a dream. New editor for a diff project wants to stick with Word. Hence the angry post.

The fact that Word remains the standard in publishing is so frustrating. It's an absolutely garbage program. Every "feature" in Word is LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE of what any sane person would want. I am BEGGING the industry to shift over to Mac Pages. Not even 9am and I am swearing at my screen.
