i think its safe to say no one wants him in the community, but so far he doesn’t appear to be “in the community” anyways. We cannot force ppls language choice but were also not forced to platform everyone

its far too early to judge llm overall economic productivity impact though, its far from self evident that using llms to produce code faster results in measurable macroeconomic benefit

Jonas Kruckenberg @jonaskruckenberg.de · 19/09/2026
on some level im very curious about this phenomenon: why is it that every llm output has this effect? is it the statistics of it? the finetuning meant to make its output palatable to everyone? some emergent property of the system?

“indie” developers have less to loose, and competing with big players means taking risks they fundamentally cannot. Thats your “indie dev” competitive advantage

Jonas Kruckenberg @jonaskruckenberg.de · 17/09/2026
don’t think its surprising at all, many human structures fundamentally resist change. that’s generally a good thing too. Companies especially usually reward stability and predictability over optimality. Esp bc its not clear in the moment what “optimal” even means

Did you know C's int isn't actually guaranteed to be Rust's i32? They line up almost always, except on niche architectures. Rust decided that "almost" is close enough. Read about what this means in our free C-to-Rust migration course: mainmatter.com/c-to-rust-mi... #RustLang
