I jumped at the opportunity to see BLACK ZOMBIE tonight. Essential and profound. The first three Romero zombie movies are as necessary to me as air, but this made me reconsider them and the whole damn genre. More importantly, it educated me about Haiti and its history; both horrific and triumphant.

I don’t love rating movies, but I try. It’s just that lots of times I like something more after it lives in my head for a little while. Occasionally less, but that’s rarer. Only thing I know is, any movie with Keith David in it automatically goes up a star. #letterboxd

My sister and I went to see COYOTE VS. ACME this evening. So much fun! My sister was laughing constantly. Nobody told me ahead of time who was playing the judge! That reveal made me about as happy as any movie moment has all year. Also, obviously, the end credits tune. 🧨 #CoyoteVsAcme

Watched the first episode of #Lanterns. Perfectly cast, for one. Kyle Chandler is center stage for obvious reasons, with Aaron Pierre doing more of a slow burn. I will be glad to see his character take over as the story progresses. I like the idea of a superhero buddy-cop thing.
