The Supercars Supra is my nomination for best new race car introduction of the year. It had its reliability moments, but it was not even the weakest of the three during the sprint season, and it was first and third in its first ever endurance race.

And who sat on the pole that day at Road Atlanta? None other than one Brentonius Crews, who I believe was approximately 7 years old at the time. He set the Trans Am track record at Road Atlanta in qualifying, with a 1:16.683. The car was a Camaro, but he still thanked Toyota on the podium.

The #70 Chevrolet Camaro of Brent Crews in the TA1 class at Road Atlanta, in pole position on that grid. The driver and his VIPs are standing in front of the car, stonewalling fans, unlike every other TA1 driver, who is beckoning you to come check out their car.
