I'm a backer. Checked in on this like a week ago, just before this article came out and saw comments were in an uproar. I was pretty alarmed, so I actually did report them to Kickstarter for not delivering, but I'm glad to see people here saying that this isn't really in scam territory yet.

Haven't posted in a while, but I've been spending a lot of time on the new PC. It's honestly largely responsible for reinvigorating my interest in FFXIV. Have still been raiding as usual, but stopped feeling burned out, and finally got back into hunts and conducting hunt trains again.

Honestly, I'd be more ok with the price of the console if they put an OLED screen on it, but for $100 more than the Switch OLED model at launch, I do still think they overshot the price for hardware that is less powerful than or maybe close to the $300 Xbox Series S.
