Joe Lewallen @jokerbc67.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I did not want to talk about celebrity deaths yesterday, as it was the 5th anniversary of the Abbey Gate bombing and I felt thst needed its own day. But now: Dolly. My mom loved her and I thought she was pretty funny when I was a kid. It was later that I found out about all the charitable works. 100
Joe Lewallen @jokerbc67.bsky.social · 01/08/2026A couple days late but Happy 40th Birthday to this life changing album. This was my gateway drug to so much music. My favorite band and the best American band ever. It all started here. Within a week of getting this one, I bought the previous 3 albums & EP. REM always sounds fresh & timeless. 240
Joe Lewallen @jokerbc67.bsky.social · 08/07/2026A late Father's Day present from my wonderful daughter. My fav album by my 3rd favorite band. I won't forget the songs that made me cry and the songs that saved my life. RIP Andy Rourke, you were the secret weapon of the Smiths sound. In the Year Of Our Lord 2026, the Smiths still matter. 140

Joe Lewallen @jokerbc67.bsky.social · 11/11/2025Happy Veterans Day, Armistice Day - UK, and Remembrance Day in Australia. Enlisting into the US Army remains the pivotal decision of my life. Tish, the kids, my civilian career, my faith, all came from that one somewhat impulsive decision. Bless all who honorably served. 121

By Engineers for Engineers. Saw some old friends, people I deployed and served with. Always a great time. Totally worth the long drive and the haircut. 110
Joe Lewallen @jokerbc67.bsky.social · 04/05/202538 years ago, I enlisted in the United States Army and the California Army National Guard. I had no plan to stay in for as long as I did, but I served for 36 years, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Tinnitus, back, and leg pain are a small price to pay. ❤️ to my brothers and sisters. ESSAYONS! 020
