I have been using this tool on my webcomics site to actually see the bots that have been visiting and figure how which ones to block: knownagents.com free version works fine for small sites!

Track, control, and optimize for AI agents and bots | Known Agents

Turn the rising wave of bot traffic and AI agent activity into new growth for your business

short answer: see this blog post! neil-clarke.com/block-the-bo... additional FYI: - test your setup, be careful not to also block your site from showing up for search engines (or real people) - not foolproof, bots can pretend to be a friendly bot - update block files regularly with new bots' names

I would climb Mt. Everest if there was an incredible plot twist at the top #art #comic

Girl is sitting on a couch with a cat nearby. A guy, holding a phone, says to her "Do you want to do a hike that's the equivalent of climbing a 100-story building?" He is planning a trip to New Zealand.

Girl slumps on the couch a bit. She says, "I don't think I want to do that."

Guy replies, "Are you sure? The view is supposed to be amazing."

Girl has a thoughtful look. She says, "I'm not really motivated by views for hikes..."

Guy asks, "What would motivate you?"

Girl looks determined and replies "Lore."

throwback comic about the time I two-timed my Nintendo 3DS #art #comic #gaming

Comic title: Korea/Japan Comics: Preparation

A girl is thinking to herself, "The flight to Korean is 10+ hours... I better bring something to do..."

She looks at a table where her Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch are.

Girl thinks to herself, "3DS... or Switch? Not enough room to bring both..."

"Trusty old companion or new system and games...?"

Girl looks increasingly concerned.

Girl yells, "aaaaaaa"

She grabs the Nintendo Switch and runs out of the room, exclaiming "aaaa I'm sorry it's not you it's meee!!"

The Nintendo 3DS has a broken heart floating above it.

my spouse and I have a fight over floppy disks #retrotech #comic

Comic title: Right side up

A screenshot of a tweet by Nobi Hayashi reads: Why is the "save" button on MS Excel represented by a picture of a vending machine? (with purchased drink at the bottom). A question by young Japanese caught a buzz in Japan

Girl: (looking amused) Kids today don't know what floppy disks are anymore, huh?
Boy: haha that's funny

Boy: ... but why is the save icon upside-down?

Girl: (looks shocked)
Girl: WHAT?
Girl: You're supposed to write on the disks like this! They were printed that way! (Girl points to a floppy disk with the metal side down)

Boy: (points to a floppy disk with the metal side up) But they were printed like this too

Girl: (looking increasingly more frantic) You can't find the disk you want if you don't store them writing side up!! (points to a floppy disk storage case)

Boy: (also looking frantic) Since you insert them metal side first, it makes sense to hold it like this! (floppy desk metal side up)

Girl: (sobbing) I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE LIKE THIS
Boy: AHHHHHH

comic title: Foofy

A girl gets onto an elevator and a man is already is inside.
Man: Oh hello! Are you going to the convention today?
Girl: Oh yeah haha

Inside the elevator, they chat briefly.
Man: Who's your favorite character?
Girl: Ohh uhhh I guess Luffy from One Piece? (it's not but I panicked)

Girl exits the elevator.
Man: Oh man that anime stuff is like a whole 'nother language for me haha.
Girl: Oh haha

Man: Well I'll have to check out Foofy from One Piece
The elevator starts to close.
Man: Have a good one

I'd recommend to anyone with a webcomic to just get their own website if you can. The online landscape changes so fast in its ability to dick over small artists that having your own pernament base that's known to your audience is important.
