Since April 4, #SCOTUS has issued 15 rulings on 17 emergency applications filed by Trump (three birthright citizenship apps were consolidated). It has granted relief to Trump ... in all 15 rulings. It has written majority opinions in only 3. Today's order is the 7th with no explanation *at all.*

Red adverts stoke fear; why not do the same? Show troops on streets. People hungry. Families torn apart. Medical progress halted. Jobs lost. The difference – it’s all real, you don’t need it to be overdramatized like the GOP does… just show people what is happening, matter of fact.

Law enforcement officers should never cover their faces when making arrests or conceal their identities (unless they are working undercover). They work for us. We have a right to know who they are. These face coverings are frightening & unAmerican, as though they're ashamed of what they're doing.

The California Secretary of State should waive the first year of annual franchise taxes for new small businesses, or until their gross receipts exceed a small amt. $800+ to incorporate is a high burden on many small businesses, and just encourages many people to operate outside of a business entity.

I don’t think most Americans have understood the full impact of the shift: There is no longer confidence that the law is binding. When one can’t find recourse in the courts, businesses and individuals will change their behaviors and ways that dramatically reshape the economy for the worse.

So I’m in Death Valley with my film camera. I have a 1980’s 35mm Nikon lens in my pocket. As I’m hiking up a steep trail, the lens falls out (cap gone immediately), rolls 50 feet down the trail. Or, really, it bounces down rock by rock. Totally fine, not a scratch on the front element. Wild.

Just had my first experience with AI augmenting a physician's work. I requested a copy of the visit notes. In the summary section, there were: - Misunderstood statements - Inverted observations ("does" vs "does not") - Misspellings of common medical terms Anyone else have experience with these?
