Thames Water: there’s a hosepipe ban because our reservoir levels are getting low. Cut to scenes of the road next to Farmoor reservoir where a Thames Water pipe has leaked hundreds of thousands of litres of water on to the road such that it looks like a canal!!

A tweet from Nigel Farage … reading I have spoken to the CEO of Tendring District Council. Reform has offered to cover the cost of the by-election.
I will be writing to Rachel Reeves later today with the same message.
Given that we asked for this by-election in the first place, it's only right that we pay for it.

Whit Monday at Bampton and a rare chance to hear Jinky Wells’ fiddle being played for a dance. Wells is the recorded source for the Bampton dance tunes. It was given back to the village last year and has been gently restored and will be on display in the village archive next to the library.
