Trump calls Natalie on stage, checks out her legs, calls her "perfect," then floats creating a reality show w/ her -- & other lowlights from his rally tonight in Nebraska (Including Trump saying of Iran, "Let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is very small price to pay")

I suspect Tuberville has a nasty case of CTE. Not so much from playing football, but for banging his head on the resolute desk in the Oval Office bowing down to say "yes" to Donald Trump.

Yes, I know, MLB controls whether the roof is open or closed in the postseason and felt the cool temperatures merited closing the roof. Big babies.

No; I’m saying I might not have a coaster at all. Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not they can work through the problems I ask them to solve. They just complicate things for themselves by bringing along something they now have to figure out where to place.

John Purlia @johnpurlia.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
I’d have a coaster for them if I’m giving them something to drink. But if I’m not, I may not have one and they are stuck.

There is a practicality aspect. So, the candidates is sitting there with their iced coffee and you ask them to go to the whiteboard and solve a problem. Where do they put their coffee? On your desk? On the ground? Going in, you as the candidate have to anticipate things like this.

Of course, it depends on the job, but at high tech companies you usually get offered something to drink by HR, and taken to a fancy restaurant for lunch.

Do you bring your own cake to a birthday party? No. Better to bring nothing and wait to be offered something to drink.

GOP Sen. Thom Tillis privately tore into Trump in texts obtained by Politico:
Graphic featuring Donald Trump on the left and Republican Sen. Thom Tillis on the right, with two large iMessage-style text bubbles attributed to Tillis overlaid across the bottom. In the first message, Tillis tells Trump that Trump “NEVER” threatened him with a primary challenge, says Trump may have him confused with other Republicans he has threatened, and adds that if Trump had threatened him directly, he would have told him to “fck yourself” and immediately announced his retirement. He ends, “Save those threats and head games for cowards and fools.” In the second message, Tillis writes, “I still want to help but I don’t take this bullsht from anyone, including you Mr. President,” adding, “Save that sh*t for the cowards who don’t care if you fail. I care if you fail and right now we are failing.”

When Elon Musk's groups spent $20M+ on Wisconsin's 2025 Supreme Court race, his involvement backfired and his candidate lost by 10 points. Now his super PAC has quietly spent $14M+ on key midterm races, including the Texas Senate race. Would be a shame if people found out.
