The investigation did begin in 2021, with some pretty good people (Lisa Monaco, for one) at the top. I blame primarily the Roberts Supreme Court for handing Trump months to years of delay and then a get of jail free card that Nixon never had.

So, he’s saying he’s gonna steal all the tariff money? I can’t figure any other way parse this out. And if his candidates win he’ll bribe everybody, but if not, he’ll punish everybody by keeping the money for himself and his cronies.

Thank God. This was an innocent mistake, not intentional fraud, and prosecuting her is a way to suppress voters through fear.

What this tells us is that the criminals can run out the clock with a compliant SCOTUS in their pocket. The solution next time is to expand SCOTUS to 81 justices, first thing. (I could be talked down to 27.)
