John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Nice selection from today’s boot sale. Nothing over £2 480
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Hurray! I expect a report on what you find later Dieter! 😀 110
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Morning all!! Going crate digging at the car boot sale 3130
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I bought a pack of these last week. Gravy one is just beef rebranded in my opinion 120
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026The only negative thing anout it is he’s split the title track over 2 sides. It’s 11 minutes long and would’ve made a great last track. 200
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026It’s very good. As the reviews have pointed out it’s in the “Harvest Moon” vein. 010
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Ooh interesting! Mrs P’s dad was a miner. Harsh year for the family. 010
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026If we’re talking Rock Royalty Over Eighty Charts can I throw this in. Only been out a couple of weeks but it’s far more enjoyable to these ears than Paul’s (which I do like by the way) 220
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026When me and my friend Paul were massively into comedy in the mid 80’s we’d read about this album but couldn’t find it anywhere. We were obsessed by Python so we’d buy anything that had any connection to them. We even did a couple of fanzines. I’ll dig them out someday. 200
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Interesting chazza find today. Book published in 1983, it’s the story of the Greenham Women activists up to that point. 120
John Parkin @johnp69.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Found this one today in a bargain box @agnes-guano.bsky.social 220
