Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Storm Arena Sagat. Another very cool figure. Good poseability, accessories not great (more on that tomorrow)...but extra head and hands are good...plus that stand is great. Still pleased overall, even if I have a gripe.

#hobbystreak day 61: Today's touch-ups done on my mechs. I'll go over them again tomorrow, for the next round...continuing until they're done, which should be soon. Then set up next figures to paint. Some half-bloods for Malifaux 4E. They're all Outcast versatile, so they can fit with any list.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Maximum Thor. Even though Spidey was great, I had some trepidation about Thor. Completely unwarranted. He's great. Articlation great. Wired Cape great. Accessories great. The only thing missing (as pointed out by a buddy) was a bearded head.

#hobbystreak day 59: Extra metallic bits painted, need to wash them then touch up. Also some work on the Sneede's cockpit and the leg weapon on the Wasp...I thought it was lasers, but it's a standard model with missiles.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Yellow suit Wolverine, part 2. The other (and main) reason to get the yellow suit Wolverine is the Hugh Jackman head. It's not perfect, but a decent likeness. And Hasbro continues to have all Wolverine heads interchangable!

#hobbystreak day 58: Dug through my unbuilt and extra Malifaux stuff. Rebased a Guild Autopsy to be my third Dead Outlaw. Found a Death Marshal to use as 33. Then used the Through the Breach character pack to make a 2nd Convict Gunslinger.

The reference card for you and your oppenent help quite a bit and all the rules changes feel good. The only sticking point is the game wants lots of vertical terrain, which I will have to find...most of my in linear. I did end up with a big win, 11-3.

#hobbystreak day 57, part 2: Ended with my first game of Malifaux 4th Edition (M4E from now on). Didn't take many pictures as I was making sure I remembered rules. Must say, despite a lot of models no longer in the same faction (or existing at all), it's a much better system.

#hobbystreak day 56: As expected, today was sorting through my Malifaux models to make sure I could fit the ones I need in a case. A mouse got into the garage over the winter and had chewed up a couple trays, so I had to move stuff around. Plus some models are no longer usable, or in faction.

#hobbystreak day 52: Some minor touch-ups to all 5 of these guys, then on to some cockpit work. The metallic blue was not working, just didn't look right, so I tested out a lighter, non-metallic blue. I think it works well. Then based the other two cockpits dark blue as set-up for painting those.

Aftermath: We win the same way this scenario is always won...with the Thunderbolt limping off board. We recover the Demolisher, but lose the Clint outright (makes sense, it had 1 box left before the Bane hit it for 8!). Rewards are pretty good, so we're still in good shape.

Turn 2, part 4: The Howler manages to destroy the Demolisher. The Manticore takes revenge and one shots the Howler. The Rifleman and Clint finish off the Bane, but we lose the Clint in the process. Scenario over.

Turn 2, part 3: The Clint had moved north to help the Demolisher, Manticore, and Rifleman contain the Bane. The Howler invited itself to the party and gets behind the Demolisher.

Turn 2, part 2: The Thunderbolt shoots the Clint and cripples it, while the Warhawk also hits and cripples the Thunderbolt (due to scenario special rule...). This leaves the commander near the board edge and retreating, so the scenario will end next turn.

Turn 2: To the south, the Thunderbolt backs off, while the Summoner continues forward with the newly arrived Locust heading in as well. The Summoner takes a shot at another transport, but the sprinting Sneede takes it. Despite all the shots, the Locust is unharmed.

Turn one, part 2: The Warhawk barely hits the Thunderbolt, leaving it in bad shape, while the Sneede takes the shot meant for a transport, but it misses. The Summoner manages to hit another transport, destroying it, but takes a crit from the Wraith in return.

Turn one had the north force roll towards the bane, doing good damage to, but it hitting the Demolisher hard. Centrally, we have the Clint and Warhawk face off with the Thunderbolt. We have the hover transports go south and the rest cover them.

Final Turn: We get initiative and position on the Rifleman. It misses the Manticore...which turns on it's searchlight and drops him. The Rifleman pastes the last Elemental and we win.

Turn 4, part 1: The Wasp retreats, as does the Manticore as it's lost all it's armor. One Griffin IIC (still overheated from destorying the howler) jumps up to kick a turret, while the others take pot shots at the Elemental, leaving it on one.

Turn 3, part 2: The Pegasus (still undisovered) moves to scan the last waypoint and download date from their satellite uplink. The Wasp finishes off the Summoner, but takes crippling damage from the Elemental. Still no joy on the Rifleman, be we paste another elemental.

Turn 3, part 1: We're basically split with one force trying to kill the lightly damaged (from t1) Rifleman, who keeps getting initiative, and the central force dealing with turrets, elementals, and trying to finish the Summoner before it mobilizes

Turn 2: We scanned most of the other waypoints, finding the Summoner, Howler, and the satellite uplink bldg (L). We devolved into a couple smaller fights. Destroying the Howler, damaging the Summoner, and missing the Rifleman completely (due to darkness).

Turn 1, we had the Wraith (proxied by the Wolverine in green and tan) move up the left flank with the Rifleman, while the rest of the force moved more centrally. The Pegasus (hover tank) scanned one waypoint and the Wraith discovered the Jade Falcon Rifleman.

#hobbystreak day 50: Birthday Bash with Marshall and Brendan. Since we had just enough players, we ended up playing Shadows of Brimstone. I played the Wandering Samurai and did pretty well overall. Had a string of down rolls in the middle, but still a great time!

I think she'll be ok once I use some of the tricks to tighten the joints, but it will make me really have to think about any further purchases from them. On the other hand, the first figure I got from them (Holga) had no issues at all, so might just be continuing my run of bad luck on figures.

#hobbystreak day 45: Wash on the test metal on the Jager. I think I need to wait until the post wash drybrush to be sure. It's still distinct, but lost a lot of the blue. Then, for something completely different, sorted all the Malifaux 4E Outcasts cards.
