Yep, a totally winnable game that yet again we’ve fail to see out. It’s infuriating tbh

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 10h

Defense just didn’t do enough there, poor goal to concede

010

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 11h

It’s going to be a long 10 mins this 😬

010

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 11h

He did really well there, but didn’t need to foul the player, he’d already stifled the breakaway

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 11h

Short Fuse & Szmods having a good game up front, Sanderson looking very composed at the back - Clark having a quiet one though. Deservedly ahead, Derby definitely the better team. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Sammy The Sznake!!! 💥 Get in You Rams! Great counter attacking move #dcfc #dcfcfans

We might be down to bare bones, but we can still put on a positive performance if we get stuck in. 💪🏼 Come On You Rams! #dcfc #dcfcfans

It’s 1970 and ELTON JOHN takes out a crumpled piece of paper and plays “Tiny Dancer” for the first time in front of his lyricist BERNIE TAUPIN and Taupin’s wife Maxine (for whom Taupin wrote the song).

I wasn't even described as hip and young when I was in my 20s. A pleasure to be involved in the revival of the Blogcast, wouldn't have missed it for the world (despite being half an hour late...) #dcfcfans

😂 Sounds like you’re being a bit tough on yourself, you’ve got years a head of you to make even worse mistakes…

Treat it as a learning opportunity

It all feels so flat and predictable

Getting Short Fuseini on would make a difference for sure

Not heard anything but I’d guarantee they’d boo Travis if he comes on… at least I think it would be the Burnley fans

110

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I feel like that too, and it’s only 11:10 here 😂

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Burnley aren’t anything special but we’re so flat we make them look like a top 6 side.

110

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Sanderson should have scored there, he just took his eye off the ball at the last minute. That was the first real chance… #dcfc #dcfcfans

Poor from Taylor there, never challenged for that cross

Great finish from Clarke and a really good ball from Sammy the Sznake 1-0 to The Mighty Rams #dcfc #dcfcfans

I’ve reached the point - well actually, I reached it a while ago - where I’m militantly anti-AI. Fine - use it in bioscience labs and radiology where it might help analyse data more effectively. Use it sparingly for systems engineering. Everywhere else, it can fuck off.

On the plus side, Cashin is back in the team 💪🏼

110

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Absolutely, and although it’s phenomenal to see Cashin and Izoh back, for me the biggest plus point is Zetts still being in a Derby shirt tomorrow morning. After the World Cup I’d assumed he’d be on his way, so I’m totally chuffed!

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Apart from that free kick he’s actually had a good game I think, a calming influence

110

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

He’s right to have the shot but Fraulo was better placed for an easy tap in

LJS with an absolute belter!!! TWO NIL TO THE RAMS! #dcfc #dcfcfans

050

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

😂 agreed, but it’s still good to see - hoping we get an early goal 2nd half and end up with a convincing win. We need a decent rest to start building confidence again

010

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I think it’s a much better display, it’s not free flowing by any means, but we look a bit more organized and not as soft - Taylor is epitomizing the effort for me, having his best game so far.

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Excellent covering tackle that by Taylor 👊

#dcfc need new players, but it's also true that the organisation of the team has gone. The hallmark of a Eustace side has been that they're hard to beat. Even at the start of last season, when we were struggling, we ground out draws. 9 goals conceded in four games, and could easily have been more

091

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Apparently he’s accepting full responsibility for the result

120

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I don’t blame you. This is piss poor today, I’m really not sure what’s going on!

Here we go! Nice work from CBT, and Boobby C delivers a thunderbastard! 💥 2-2 #dcfc #dcfcfans

160

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I think he’s looked bright, though he does tend to try and do too munch on his own. Fraulo looking good in the 10 role though. Time yet to turn this around

010

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Looked like it was a pen to me, though I haven’t seen a replay, so putting all my faith in the ref to have got the decision right

020

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Charlton haven’t tested us too much but we don’t look great defensively so far, so we need to tighten up, particularly on the wings. Fingers crossed we get an early 2nd and put this to bed.

020

John Szparaga @johnnypositive.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Good call by the ref there, he went down far too easily
