Here's the problem. Trump wants a quick peace with no guarantees that it'll be lasting peace. Zelenskyy has tried that already and knows Putin cannot be trusted. He knows Ukraine needs long lasting, guaranteed peace. Trump/Vance just want a quick PR win *saying* they ended the war.

It's been over a decade since I last drank alcohol out of buckets and partied to the fire show. Funny enough, not that much has changed. It's still fire lit limbo, the same beach, even the same plastic buckets. Those times were great, and i'm glad to have relived it again, even for just a night.

It'll probably take months, if not years for people to actually starve, as most USAID programs are long term plans for things like food stability and crop sustainability. But there will be food shortages in Africa and the Middle East and it will lead to more global conflicts and wars over it.

I have friends who work for USAID in Ukraine. They work with local farmers to make sure wheat crops continue to harvest during Russia's invasion. I asked him, "Why does that benefit the USA?" He replied simply, "Famine creates Dictators, wars, and instability in the world, we don't want that."

Normally I think baby animals are always cuter than the adults, but in this case, I love how big, yet still cute the fully grown cappy is. The baby is of course cute, but any animal that size would be similarly cute. Fight me to the death if you think i'm wrong.

Putin's invasion of Ukraine has destabilized the entire world and has made it now okay for stronger nations to try and take weaker ones by force. Azerbaijan invading Armenia, Israel and Gaza, Syria and now the US Expansion; Greenland and Panama Canal for "national security" or other BS reasons.

I hope that Russia takes Trump's offer to end the war, but in reality, Putin is like an addicted gambler who has already lost more than he's willing to admit. If he stops now, he'll go back empty handed and ashamed. If he continues to borrow money and double down, he thinks there's still a chance.

There's a lot of things I can comment on about in this post, but the most important thing is that Trump is finally asking Putin to stop his ridiculous invasion of Ukraine that never should had started and calling it what it is. Russia's economy is on the verge of collapsing by the end of 2025.

As much as I don't like Trump as a person, he's our President now. The worse thing we can do is to continue fighting and keep America divided for another 4 years. If you're against his policies, argue those specifically, otherwise, like it or not, it's best to stand together.
