I bought an eSIM for recent three-week trip to England but couldn’t get it to work. Turns out, having no data on your phone is a great way to enjoy a holiday.

One of my criticisms of social media is that it has led to a culture of endless self-promotion. So, in the interest of not being like that, I'm posting here a terrible review I received for my show at the Durham Fringe, from @broadwaybaby.com. It's part of my story! broadwaybaby.com/shows/online...

A few days late, but thanks to everyone involved with @buxtonfringe.bsky.social. It's such a delightful Fringe, and I'm overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and exuberance and joyful spirit. Looking forward to a return trip ASAP.

I interviewed myself to get a couple of quotes for the @buxtonfringe.bsky.social blog! And it's interesting (but not at all surprising) to notice that technology's omnipresence in our lives is a theme at this and other theatre festivals this year. buxtonfestivalfringe.blogspot.com/2026/07/hold...

For the third year in a row, I will have the pleasure of doing a show at the fabulous On the Edge Fringe in North Bay, Ontario. This year, it's a brand new piece about trying to carve out a bit of physical space in the world we live in now. The festival runs August 6 to 10.
