The triple lock must change: let’s tie it to MPs’ pay: when MPs vote themselves a rise, pensions rise correspondingly. When MPs get a job perk (eg, pension fund bonus), pensioners get the same. And on retirement, pensioners get something akin to an MP’s winding-up payment of to four months' salary.
