NEW SPACE THEMED TAMAGOTCHI PARADISE called Neon Planets just revealed. I love reporting the news

New space-themed tamagotchi paradise called "Neon Planet." The device has a dark blue/purple shell with sparkles in it and lime green accents. Surrounding the device are a bunch of new space-themed characters, and a bunch of older characters brought back to the paradise for the first time

Shows how to use the dial on the side of the device to zoom in and out. New for this paradise is one extra zoom out that shows your tamagotchi planet at the galaxy level.

Rough translation of japanese text: Spin it around and around! Take care of us via zoom!

Turn the zoom dial and view from the cellular level to the galaxy level. We can provide care up to the last detail!

Shows 3 new fields! A space-themed field, a tamagotchi paradise field that has a mixture of characters from the previous fields, and one for more classic tamagotchi characters that we haven't seen on the device yet

Roster of characters for each field, paradise characters on the left, space in the middle, and classic on the right

Suddenly identifying with so many flags I feel like I'm on Tumblr in 2014

The demisexual flag - Big black triangle overlapping a purple horizontal stripe. White is on the top of the flag with gray on the bottom.

The demiromantic flag - Big black triangle overlapping a green horizontal stripe. White is on the top of the flag with gray on the bottom.

New tamagotchi character just dropped and I love them

Unnamed Tamagotchi character from the newly revealed "My Lab Tamagotchi." It looks like a cute purple alien with two antennae, a star on its forehead, big sparkly eyes, and a long tail

I took a 148 question quiz just for it to tell me I talk like I from NEW JERSEY? (56% NJ, 54% NY)

our dialect map

Redder areas talk more like you; bluer areas least.

You talk most like someone from New Jersey — about 56% of your answers match a typical resident.
mydialect — extended

Heat map of the united states, blue = least like me, red = most like me. Middle of map is mostly blue, with 3 blue dots over omaha, kansas city, and oaklahoma city to signify least like me, and red dots over boston, new york, philadelphia to signify most like me. I guess this is in addition to new jersey? Idk

Have you ever seen such a beautiful thing

Tamagotchi Paradise body cell depicted as a pink circle with a happy face floating in a blue liquid (?). The cell is surrounded by 6 sun cells (gained from getting your tamagotchi to full happiness), 6 hunger cells which look like onigiri (gained from feeding your tama), 4 banana cells (from eating bananas, affects what they evolve into), and 4 tropical cells (from being raised in the Tropical field, affects evolution)

For any tamagotchi fans out there, look up Tamaweb. It's a web-based, fan-made digital pet that has a ton of features and tamagotchi characters. A little bit difficult to navigate but depends on what platform you're playing on, for my browser I set it to "classic menu" and it's way easier to use now

Web-based digital pet called Tamaweb. On the screen is a render of a tamagotchi shell, with a little yellow tamagotchi character on the screen blushing with hearts about its head

Right? I thought it was gen z bringing it back but then I looked up the history of that search term and it EXPLODED in 2004 (I can't believe google search data from 2004 exists) My research says it was mostly a term used on the internet and digital cameras were not actually marketed as "digicams"

Interest over time, united states Jan 1,2004 - August 13th, 2026
X axis is time, Y axis is "interest" scored from 0-100.
Interest was at a 100 in November 2004, it is only at a 12 right now, comparatively, though when we're only looking at the past 5 years it hit "100" in March of this year

Since everyone's goonin to the moomins. Sorry to this man idk him but the description checks out

"My Moomin character is HEMULEN"
Picture of Hemulen who is like...an aardvark looking guy with a long snout, hair that sticks up, glasses, wearing a purple cloak/dress, with a scrabook next to him filled with stamps or stickers.
"Find out your Moomin character on valley.moomin.com!"

"My Moomin character is
HEMULEN

You like order, believe in duty, and strongly feel that rules and regulations should be followed. You are prone to obsess over collecting things (whether that be plants, stamps or insects).

You tend to be a bit bossy and are drawn to jobs that require a uniform. That said, you can also be surprisingly convivial and high spirited!"

I'm fun www.idrlabs.com/hot-crazy-sc...

An axis measuring craziness vs hotness that places me in the "fun zone"
"People in the Fun Zone are cool, above average in attractiveness, and great to hang out with. Everyone should spend some time in the fun zone, to find out what they like and dislike in a partner and to get the awkwardness out of their system so that they will eventually be ready for marriage or a serious relationship. While fun is a good thing, the Fun Zone also has its risks. Since the zone is wedged right between the No-Go and Crazy zones, it is possible to mistake crazies and no-goers as fun. Inexperienced daters should seek a second opinion if they are unsure whether their potential partner is really in the Fun Zone."

An axis measuring craziness vs hotness mapping out the zones from the previous picture. No-go, Crazy, Fun, Date, Marriage, and Unicorn.

My friend drew me this for my birthday 🥹

Cartoon me in my Y2K outfit holding a tamagotchi, wearing a labubu, and throwing up a millennial peace sign. Text on top reads “happy birthday John!” with “2026” on the bottom. I’m surrounded by tamagotchis and aliens with quotes of things I say often: “Sorry!” “Is this tmi?” “My prescription wasn’t ready…” “did I already say this?” “Reaching across the aisle” and… “juicy jumbo” listen it’s an inside joke from when we went to Canada.

AliExpress e-mails me every single day about a single package I ordered
