Wrapped up Robin Hobb’s Liveship Traders this weekend and wow- I can’t believe how good it was. Book 1 started a bit slow for me but by book 3 I couldn’t put it down. Nobody does character development like Hobb and I wish more people knew this subseries of ROTE #Booksky

Hit my usual goal of 52 early this year. Should I set a higher goal? What to?

Is anyone tuning into Lazarus on HBO Max? It's a top animated series for me. The soundtrack is stunning, similar to Persona 5's music. The characters are intricate, endearing, and at times infuriating. The show explores human motivation and questions our worthiness for redemption. #Lazarus

I love Discworld generally, but wow did this one blow me away. The speed of Pratchett’s wit and the way it weaves neatly into deeper themes is truly incredible.

2 in and we already have this much development! Bruce’s origin is being retold in a refreshing way. But what’s so impressive is the way they seamlessly introduce significant characters via a simple poker game. It clues you in if you know, and if you don’t, it’s still meaningful. WOW #comics #dc

Few books have changed my perception of the world overnight. "Why Does Patriarchy Persist?" is one of them. Gilligan and Snider get to the heart of how our society trains gender norms into us and teaches us unhealthy responses to loss. I analyze life and literature through this lens every day.

Batman # 154 was another solid issue. The ending felt like a huge shift, but I’m interested in seeing if there’s something causing people to act out of character. Also nice to see some Wayne family drama. #DC #Comics #DCComics #Batman

DC's new Absolute Superman is exactly what I need in a week like this. A Superman raised in a working class family, fighting against the oppression of megacorporations. Magnificent. #DC #Comics #Superman
