Watched the HOTD premiere. A perfectly fine episode of tv, but I’m glad I can watch it for fun and not as a podcaster this season. I’ve lost my enthusiasm for close watching this show. Stepping back and letting it wash over me has improved the experience.

I absolutely intended to take a palate cleanser detour between Liveship Traders and The Tawny Man. Changed my mind within hours. I missed my Six Duchies friends #booksky #booktok #reading #RobinHobb #RealmoftheElderlings

Wrapped up Robin Hobb’s Liveship Traders this weekend and wow- I can’t believe how good it was. Book 1 started a bit slow for me but by book 3 I couldn’t put it down. Nobody does character development like Hobb and I wish more people knew this subseries of ROTE #Booksky

I know Brandon Sanderson recommends starting the Cosmere with Mistborn, but I don't think that's the best choice for everyone. I genuinely think I would have enjoyed all of his work more if I started with The Way of Kings. If you're coming from a deep fantasy background, start with deep fantasy

#TheLastofUsSpoilers Now that the structure of the narrative has been revealed to be nonlinear in the show, I am afraid that it will not be as effective a device on screen as it was in the game. Overall I was not thrilled with this season. Not terrible, but a big step down from season 1.
