Hi #weekendsingles thought I’d add this to #albumalmanac as it was #newtome26. I was struck by the name Slag and thought I’d give them a listen. Pretty damn good actually. 5 piece from Brighton. youtu.be/AC1OLNBzYzA?...

That’s a great image Des. Is that an Eastern style dagger on the wall above him??

For the #weekendsingles crowd… anyone used to have this from the small ads in the NME etc…?? Just found it in a bag in the garage. Oldies unlimited. Vinyl sellers way back when…

Yes. It was run by a chap from centre radio in Leicester called Tom Clapton. Was great fun. My show was Thurs lunchtime. One day I played King Rocker 7 times in a row just to rebel. 🤣🤣 These are my Sparks albums so far.

Sparks are just awesome. Played number one song in heaven on my radio show at school in ‘79 and never looked back. Getting close to having every one of their albums. (Even the turkeys!🤣) 🥸😎

Hi fellow #weekendsingles people. Just looking for a new turntable and after recommendations really. Really want an auto return this time. All ideas very welcome. Thank you. Pic is my latest acquisition. Produced by none other than Trevor Horn!

That is a great album. I remember buying the two previous albums when I bought parallel lines on its release. I picked up Wind In The Willows too. Love their early stuff.
