The @barackobama.bsky.social Presidential Library has a display commemorating the Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament of 1986! And, it was more like 5,000 started out and the numbers would swell or shrink depending on what marching mode* we were in.

Stay hydrated and safe. Be with friends, don't go off on your own, esp if there are counter protestors. Keep moving and away from the curb (unless it's a huge crowd and you've got the street). Above all, make new friends, make noise, drumming, chants, and dance a bit. Have fun!
