There’s just so much going on right now, it’s overwhelming and feels impossible to keep up. What are you doing to sustain yourself during this deluge?

Got my CONvergence badge before the price increase. Looking forward to being back this year!

Skilled artists can reach into our souls and find the parts of us that are soft and vulnerable and yearning. Their works can reflect us, shape us, comfort us, or challenge us. And we willingly yield that power to them, because art tells us who we are. But what they do with that power matters. A lot.

I'm not leaving Facebook or Threads or Instagram because I refuse to allow an oligarch to force me into smaller and smaller spaces in an effort to silence me. I will continue to speak out against the racist, rapist, felon who will be squatting in the White House and in defense of democracy.

Been following the Los Angeles area fires with rapt and horrified attention over the last couple days. My heart goes out to all the folks living in uncertainty there right now.
