So @johncarreyrou.bsky.social is one of the best investigative reporters going (see Theranos etc). Here he makes a strong, persuasive case that Bitcoin's inventor Satoshi is Adam Back, a 55-year-old British cryptographer. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/08/b...

I am certainly not your target audience but fwiw you convinced me! (I also learned that although I’m not yet 50, the second space after that first sentence suggests otherwise.) The best way to prove something is often by accretion of independent pieces of evidence; this article is a great example.

Did @johncarreyrou.bsky.social crack the mystery of who invented bitcoin? Pretty convincing, definitely meets a preponderance of evidence standard. Beyond a reasonable doubt? Not sure. Thoughts? www.nytimes.com/2026/04/08/b...

www.nytimes.com/2025/01/23/b... A San Francisco Bay Area startup. A medical device involving blood. Sound familiar?… Actually, it’s not. No Stanford dropout and no black turtleneck but a lot of questionable claims and some dead patients.
