I was recently at Union Station in Washington DC. They have removed every single bench now from the grand 'Waiting Room' area. Not one single place to sit down now in this grand space. I don't think I saw a single one of the original mahogany benches in the entire building. 🤬

I'll support Beaver's Mini Mart and all the Beavercreek, Ohio businesses long before I give any support to Buc-ee's. The Beavercreek area was settled in the early 1800s. A part of Beavercreek Township was incorporated and became the city of Beavercreek in February 1980. Buc-ee's was 1982.

I get the power is out in Atlanta because of a storm, but the RamNode data centers are supposed to have redundant power and diesel generators. At most it should have been a brief hiccup. This outage is going on way too long. 🤔 Good thing I have backup servers in another state that switched over.

I really don't understand USPS sometimes. Package from Road Island coming to Virginia. The last big center mail always goes through to get here is Greensboro, NC. The package was just scanned in Indianapolis, around 500 miles further west than it needs to go, adding at least another day. 🤷🏼‍♂️

To be honest, I don't really care for the look of the new NYC Times Square New Year's Eve Ball for the 2025-2026 ball drop. The triangle crystals looked more classy and elegant. The new round crystals look cheap and cluttered, like the bottoms of glass Coke bottles.

Voted early in Virginia. The red hat coffee klatch was waiting at the entrance, I took a different route to avoid them, and one had to go out of there way to try and persuade me to take a Red Brochure on how to vote. I sternly said no thank you, went in and voted all Blue. 💙 Happy Halloween! 🎃
