Lonesome Dove is heart-wrenching! The setting, the characters, and the diabolical plot twists are leaning me towards calling it my favorite book of the year so far

I STILL do not understand why Ned thought it was a good idea to tell Cersei that he was going to tell Robert that their kids were not his. After having to kill Sansa’s direwolf you would think that he would have learned to take her as a constant and serious threat!

You know what grinds me gears? When you are waiting on a call from a vendor or contractor with a number you don’t recognize, a number you don’t recognize calls you, and it just turns out to be some bullshit spam call

Beware of Chicken is a story about a guy who is sucked into the body of a cultivator in a different world based on Chinese fantasy. He starts a farm and his animals become sentient. It’s cozy and fun!

It was so good! It read like a novel and never really felt like it was dragging.

Oh, hi there! It's cover reveal day for Brigands & Breadknives, with art yet again by the amazing @emberwickart.bsky.social- I love it so ❤️ Coming Nov 11 '25 from @torbooks.bsky.social-

Cover for Brigands & Breadknives, depicting a campfire scene with an elven adventurer, a rattkin writing letters in the back of a wagon, surprised by a goblin in a patchwork coat brandishing a breadknife, with a demon chicken on their head. Okay, so it's hard to describe.

Finished. Simple review: title explains book perfectly. Written from journals of pirates on the expedition. History written in novel form, good. Spanish enslavement of South America, evil af. Prose written in a way to keep book interesting. Sailing in 1600s, terrifying. 4 stars. #booksky

Instagram forces you to follow these assholes. Has to unfollow manually. We will see if they end back on my following. Probably because Meta has been taken over

It’s not about TikTok. It’s about the US government being able to ban anything by saying it’s a national security threat without providing any evidence to the American people or any due process. Clear violations of the constitution.

Today is the 4 year anniversary of when I was blocked by Joel Osteen on Twitter. Still hold this with pride. Remember, you can do anything you set your mind to. The biggest question is, does he have a BlueSky account?

One of the things I love about the ACOTAR series is when SJM describes a scene in detail and then gives it a name for a painting. It allows you to view the scene so differently
