2) At the same time, Compact 2.0 offers an opportunity for colleges and universities to stand up for their founding missions and foundational principles and functions, open up a dialogue with the American people, and offer their own ideas about what restoring trust in higher ed entails.

Third. Throughout the series John and Emily provide us with beautiful example of the pathos of friendship. Always encouraging of the other and excited to hear their companions thoughts. For me at least it was a heart-warming expression of humanity in these endarkened times.

Secondly, as someone who has little formal training in the analysis of literature I found I learned a great deal from their demonstration of how to approach a close reading of a text - it led me to a greater appreciation of what an education in the humanities has to offer.
