I haven't looked at how it's implemented but I don't care. It doesn't actually matter what web platform techniques they used, if any. If humans made it, they didn't address reasonable and predictable concerns on small screens. If Claude made it, same as above, and also it doesn't justify its cost.

AI still has no taste when it comes to UI and encouraging a responsive, performant, and accessible web

A really tall scrolling effect header reveal thing on the Opus 5.5 announcement page, as viewed on my phone.

After an unnecessary amount of swiping, the page finally stops hijacking the viewport. The two overlapping images on the sides have moved out about 20 pixels towards the edges of the screen.
