It really was so underground in every way. Travelling through London back when, those stencils popped up all over the place and it felt like anarchy was in the making. They took on the punk music culture too. These were true DIY. Pop sensibilities weren't their thing 😂But bloody great 👍

Recently took to watching 'Spooks' the #BBC TV series that ran to 10 seasons. Up to season 3 currently. I wasn't a big fan of it during its time, so giving it another chance all these years later. The first season began in 2002! #Spooks #Spies #MI5

THE TOWERING INFERNO - (1974) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A recent visit to one of the first movies I ever saw at The Pictures. Directed by John Guillermin, with an all-star cast incl. Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, William Holden, Faye Dunaway & Fred Astaire, no masterpiece but an enjoyable watch none the less.

A revisit to 'Silverview' by John le Carré and a fine read it was too. The master's final novel before he sadly passed away in 2020, posthumously published in 2021 after some final retouching by his son Nick Cornwell. Have still to take this competition seriously, perhaps it's an age thing, but World Cup & European Championship, or at least what's left of them, all that matters. I still think of these other games as nothing more than friendlies with a trophy & perhaps some merit towards a higher place in ranking.
