Im in the ap unofficial server where its mainly used and talked about, they have much more laid back rules about fan games/romhacks/fan translations being used. The server itself does have a few ai implementations but none of them are included with MWGG itself.

The dev of the original had to put in their github repo that they didn't want anybody adding LLMs to their code for them to walk back their slop update. I love ap as a project, but god it makes me tired sometimes.

A few days ago, someone who was going to revive a long deprecated Webfishing apworld revealed that they were using AI to do it. When asked if they could make a disclosure post, they said that it would "deter people from playing an otherwise fully functional apworld."

The mod that reacted to this has since apologized. But I will say the AP server needs to enforce AI disclosures on AP worlds or else this is going to keep happening until they are forced to do something about it. Only 2 of the games I regular play have them (Pokemon FRLG + Crystal)
