iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I realize how loaded this question is... But do you go out for fags too? (Smokes) My 15 year old self insanely giggled about that when I found out.

Yeah, on first view I agree. Watching this again with hindsight, there were a lot of hints - which I didn't see original.

Love the scenes with Yeoh & Martin-Green. Given I thought Yeoh was going to be a series regular, and then she wasn't, I wanted more of her. As it's a 3/4, this is a transitional ep, building towards a finale. A lot of time with Stamets here. We also find out "our" Lorca is from mirror universe.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Discovery Episode 12 - Vaulting Ambition 3/4 of the mirror arc. Their whole plan to get home (to the Klingon war - yay!) is dependent on intfo about the USS Defiant from TOS & ENT and its crossover. They need info only available the the Terran Emperor - mirror Georgiou.

Six years today we lost Eddie Van Halen. No words I could say would do his guitar work justice. I'll just go with spinning one of my favorite Van Halen vinyls today. Such good stuff, no matter the era - I'm one of those mutants that even likes the Cherone album. #vinyl #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

I was watching Dallas new as it happened when that shower thing occurred. It was a bit of a hokey idea, but there were some plot lines during that season that got reset which I thought worked to the shows advantage.

Rarity of 14. 7 of 9 are Texas Rangers. Took a beating out there. Matsusaka & Willis are obvious non Rangers (well, to me). Also surprised Ivan Rodriguez was as high as he was score wise.

This probably needed more intro. I thought this was new info like he had gotten better and was doing shows again.

Happy 79th to Brian Johnson, the longest serving vocalist of AC/DC. I'm spinning Back in Black to commemorate, as it's a foundational piece of rock and roll for me. Was the first AC/DC I ever owned - vinyl or otherwise. Doesn't feel like the album is 46 yrs old. #vinyl #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

My wife still gets worked up about 60's Connery. I've also never seen any Connery 007 in theatres except for NSNA.

find out that Ash isn't who he thinks he is, he's a Klingon that's been altered to pass as a human (something TOS did too). We also continue with Stamets' problems, which are compounded by the murder of Dr Culber. Some nice visuals here, with most everything being filmed dark (for obvious reasons).

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Discovery Episode 11 - The Wolf Inside Second of four eps set in the "Mirror Universe". While I liked seeing that again, I always felt it might have been a tad early in Discovery's run to show us alternates of our regular cast. Still, it's here, and I had fun with it. We

Rarity of 21. 8 of 9 are Texas Rangers. McCutchen appears to be my only choice, which really torpedoed my score. Couldn't think of anyone that worked in Boone square, although.. Bob Boone's son Bret Boone was a hitting coach for the Texas Rangers for about half the season in 2025. :)

I guess I didn't see it as an insult, just a joke. I really DO believe it doesn't blong on pizza, but then I'm a purist. Cheese - pepperoni - that's it. Maybe mushrooms if I'm feeling adventuresome. Literally NOTHING else.

Nor have I. My original seat was here. About 10 mins before lights out a woman came up to all of us in this section and offered seats in the lower deck for free. They were physical tickets. That's what this is - the ticket for the replacement location. The second picture is where I ended up.

It's really weird - the Rush Fifty Something tour was awesome. I got a program, and one of the posters, which are nice. Rush was amazing - loved Anika. But my favorite "thing" that I take away from the show is the following. Can't tell ya the last time I had a physical ticket to a concert. #Rush

mix of WTF is going on, and knowing where the story ends. As it's mirror, we get to see what others look like as alternates. Capt/Evil Tilly is the greatest. We also dig into what happened when Ash was tortured by the Klingons (which results in death of Dr Culber). You do wonder how the hell they

I've been a Doctor Who fan since 1983 when Davison was the incumbent. If there's one truth across fandom over that time, it's that fans are unnecessarily mad at just everything when they don't need to be. :)

Rarity of 6. All 9 are Texas Rangers. Little surprised McCutchen was a 4%. I didn't think he'd be 16%, but I also didn't think he'd be 0.3% either. Got to use my two most used players as well - Rodriguez & Urena.

Watching it this time, it's an odd feel, as I know where the story goes after this, and to that it feels incomplete, as it's reliant on other stuff. I can't recall what I felt on original viewing now, however. It's not bad at all, just can't seem to get a handle on what I feel about it exactly.

Starfleet to gain the Klingon cloaking secret. There's a lot that happens with this, but the intense stuff is with Ash & L'Rell where we get well, the first true sex scene in Star Trek (via PTS flashback). When going home, the ship ends up in an unknown location. This ep is strongly tied to others.

Quick post - as I had a few people ask me recently and there wasn't any new news - until now. Had my annual prostate cancer check a couple of days ago - got the numbers back this afternoon. I'm still clear. Quite happy to say I'm still cancer free. As I said then and always say.. Fuck cancer.

Burnham, even L'Rell & Admiral Cornwell as well. Plus more hints that Lorca isn't what he seems. I feel the mix of all these stories is handled well.
