I'm so grateful that I got a 2nd opinion and was lucky I could see a nearby (NYC) highly regarded surgeon who wasn't just trying to monetize my pain. 110
Joe @joelilly1969.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Get 2nd opinion. I was told I needed surgery, went for a 2nd opinion (saw an ortho surgeon for a pro sports team). He said I did not need the surgery at all. Just some specialized physical therapy. He told me if I took five men off the street my age four of them would have similar looking scans.  100
