I ended up implementing a sort of "slightly delayed freeze" based on a polish suggestion offline:

#gamedev #rpg I am working on party movement for my RPG. I have the party following the leader in a line, but I can't decide if it's better to collapse the line back down when the leader stops moving, or have the entire party freeze too. First video shows collapsing...

Like, if you lookup "north korea's name" you'll see it starts with 조선. Those characters are what they spelled Choson, and are in the name of the hotel's Korean page www.marriott.com/ko/hotels/se...

man this bit in the article hits me so hard. Speaking as a software engineer who used to teach, I always used to tell people "nope I'm not touching your keyboard, you need to type it or you won't learn it."

#picoCAD2 released on Monday, and I finally got around to using it for the first time this weekend. It's a really stripped-down tool for "pixel-art in 3d"; I have several toy shops on my desk, so I decided to recreate the sweets (candy + cakes) one!

#ScreenshotSaturday I'm writing a book explaining how to customize characters in Unity. As these screenshots show, the book covers both 3D and 2D (animated in #Spine!) characters. Here's a blog post explaining all the topics covered (UI, data saving, etc.) jettelly.com/blog/charact...

I have a question for any Koreans who see this: are you supposed to display wedding ducks in the home a certain way? Since I'm only half-Korean I'm not that familiar with the tradition. I know they are displayed beak-to-beak during the wedding ceremony, but at home mine are just sitting like this:

People who think making art is about natural talent never seem to grasp that getting good is just about lots of practice, so I wanna try to explain it in reverse. Here is an illustration I did a long time ago; note the date on the tail:
