Rocktober. A quick Mag Fly from Magnet Man's stage. I have to make Mega Man stubbier when I put this one down on actual paper.

A quick Kerog from Rock Man II to kick off Rocktober. Don't know how many I'll get to, this month, but I'll try to squeeze these in during a project I'm currently working on

Wow... I haven't drawn since April. I think that's the longest I've ever gone without drawing. I was taking a course for work, and was trying to be disciplined to complete it. But now that I'm done, I'm really noticing the rust. Anyway, I wanted to ease in with a Jet Man sketch from the new Mega Man

I received these INCREDIBLE Hellboy figures from @bossfightstudio.bsky.social the other day. I was pleasantly surprised that they included the accessory pack, even though I made that order at a separate time. I think these are the most accurate depictions, to date, of the Hellboy characters.

This speech from Racer X to Speed gets me EVERY TIME. There's 4-5 moments in this movie that get me very emotional.

For Letterer Appreciation Day, I wanted to share a Toth postcard, that was recently gifted to me by a very good friend of mine, Dan Quiles. Who is not on here, but he works as a storyboard revisionist on Invincible. And, although not a letterer, Toth's handwriting was just incredible.

Back in 1993, Tales from the Crypt aired an episode, titled: "Death of Some Salesmen". It starred Ed Begley jr, and Tim Curry. As well as a brief cameo by Yvonne DeCarlo. But, Tim was doing the heavy lifting in this episode. Not playing one role, but THREE! He was cast as an entire family.

When I was a kid, there weren't too many Halloween specials on tv. But the Garfield Halloween special was one that I watched often. The old man creeped me out, and the climax with the ghost pirates was an animation moment that stays with me to this day. Amazing set from @bossfightstudio.bsky.social

I'm sorry (I'm not), but this is such a HACK idea, and anyone involved should be laughed out of the business, and shunned forever. This should be career ending.

Ol' Billy Friedkin didn't hide guns around the set of The Exorcist in 1973, so he could fire them off at random to get a genuine reaction of fear from his cast so you could tell us that Ai is "inevitable"

I have quite the "to read" pile of comics in my work locker. But I FINALLY got around to reading this lovely little run of Harley & Ivy, written and drawn by @ericafails.bsky.social. Super cute. Lots of humor, both subtle and blatant. And just excellent cartooning. Highly recommend.

Really excellent Mega Man/Rock Man, here from @chabane7045.bsky.social. He's one of those characters that I love so much, where if you stray just a LITTLE TOO FAR from the original art direction, it loses me. This is a perfect example of staying true to the design, and still making it their own.

The Machine/Ramrod in Boston, RIP (2008). Joined some friends after work. Place was a blast. One of the 2 biggest pours of scotch I ever received. Fella at the bar asked if I was at the Madonna show earlier that night. I didn't know what he was talking about. My friend explained he was vetting me 😂

This is one of my favorite movie posters (2 different layouts). I have an old, original run copy of this poster (L) that I managed to snag a few years ago. I had been looking at it for a long time and decided to buy it when it had dropped in price. Art by: M. Daily (?), whom I can't find any info on

I have fond memories of watching this as a kid. I remember staying up late on Friday nights (I think it was Friday) and catching the reruns on FOX. TV was different back then. I was PUMPED when I'd find rad horror stuff that was new to me. I hope a younger crowd gets hooked on this like I did.

Just rewatched The Raid (2011), after not seeing it for over a decade. Such a solid action flick. Some of the best stunt work I've seen. Now I'm watching it again with the director commentary. I love hearing about the process stuff.
