Little one and bigger one. #PPortfolioOnBSky 393
A nature photograph a chunk of ice (nearer) and iceberg (further) on a grey sea with a dark grey cloudy sky. Both appear long across our field of view. The nearer chunk of ice appears perhaps a couple feet tall and deep but 20 or so feet wide, the iceberg perhaps 100 high and a few hundred feel long. The big iceberg has a cave formation near the left, and a little sharp column on the right only attached to the rest of the berg by thin bit of ice at the horizon (and whetever is underneath, of course.).

Ice peeking above the snow, with fog. #PPortfolioOnBSky 392
A high key color photograph of chunks of glacial ice poking through a smooth snow surface, with light grey mist behind.

Never ever get tired of all the ways in which ice forms in glaciers, icebergs, lake and river surfaces.... #PPortfolioOnBSky 391
A photograph of part of an iceberg showing slightly curved but mostly horizontal bands of ice, some whiter, some bluer. The top ridge of the berg on the left has a bit of a rim protruding with, the lower ridge right is smoother. Behind/above the iceberg is an even grey sky.

Gloomy. More weird vertical columns of geography, maybe columnar basalt. #PPortfolioOnBSky 390
A monochrome photograph of a dramatic canyon covered with clouds and mist, the walls of the canyon appear made of dark thin vertical columns and recede into the distance because mist.

A very different detail from that same park in Nevada (Cathedral Gorge SP) #PPortfolioOnBSky 388
A pyramid shaped peak of orange rock in sunlight against a partly cloudy sky. Both the peak and the ridge around it are seemingly made of long thin vertical structures, as if the entire landform was drawn with vertical strokes.

This park in Nevada was a bit of a surprise to me, I decided to check it out without having done more research returning to the Bay Area from Utah. #PPortfolioOnBSky 386
A valley of orange rock in full sunlight. The wall of the valley have tiers with almost columns between the theirs, the base of the valley is flat, starts front center and bends back and right. Above, soft clouds allow only a few bits of blue to poke through.

Drowning in orange. #PPortfolioOnBSky 384
A nature photograph of a n area of sand dunes, no sky or other surface is visible. The usual sand dune ripples largely run diagonally through the image in an upper-left to lower-right orientation.

Center bottom, in two spots groups of pointy bits of succulent poke from the sand, like grasping claws.

Guess the Map While there is some overlap with places I've visited, this isn't about that.
A world map, probably Mercator projection, countries outlined or filled. Most countries are grey, the US is white. Several countries are light orange (e.g., Belgium, Japan, Netherlands), others get darker with the darkest being Canada.

Pulling out details from mist and fog can be so satisfying. This was definitely a detail from where I was sitting, probably about 200mm, looking at ridges across the Eel River and the mists dancing to and fro. #PPortfolioOnBSky 382
A monochrome photograph, high-key, largely of clouds, only silhouettes of a dozen or so trees along a ridge peek through in the lower-left quarter of the image.

This was an incredible panel to visit, and so connected to my photographic history as well. #PPortfolioOnBSky 380
A black and white, portrait orientation, photograph of a large rock art panel, apparently mostly on a horizontal panel facing the sky. A foreshortened set of 4 concentric circles takes a prominent place bottom center, with scores of additional shapes receding to the end of the panel and mountains beyond, as well as some clouds above.

Calling it Rainbow Falls ... a bit on the nose? #PPortfolioOnBSky 379 (ps: There are many Rainbow Falls, this one is in Devil's Postpone NM)
A detail image from the right side, partway up of Rainbow Falls in Devil's Postpile National Monument. Cascades of soft motion-blurred water fall over rock ridges, including a larger bottle-shaped formation at right. A faint rainbow crosses the waterfall from upper-left to upper-middle-right.

I love how unreal this is. It was real. Reflections of pumice on the surface of a lake at dusk, bonus brine flies for texture. #PPortfolioOnBSky 378
A surreal photograph of five bits of rock and their reflections on a lake surface. The rocks are mostly white and grey, the lake surface is smooth with clear reflections, the reflected sky is a gradient from lavendar to peach, little moving dots, hundreds of them, creating a bit of texture in front of the smooth water surface.

In a sense all digital photographs are pointillist. #PPortfolioOnBSky 377
A photograph of several trees from a distance, mostly yellow aspen with a maybe half the leaves already gone for the season. Two pines appear through them, right-center. The lighter density of leaves gives the aspen a textured, almost pointillist appeaarence.

These are usually underwater, lake was lower a few years back. I suspect there's a spring coming out in the center of that middle circle.
A landscape photograph of a lakeshore at dusk, much of the foreground is strange small shapes of rock coming out of the water in an almost fractal pattern, but with a suspuciously round circle without those detailed shapes in the front center. The sky and its reflection are peach and pink.

A landscape photograph of a lake before sunrise. A thin bit of rock breaks above water right foreground. The water near is greenish, the sky is purples, blues, reds which are also reflected into the lake surface. Near the horizon a set of strange rocks and their reflections are visible back left, and a bit at the right edge, with a further mountain ridge in the very far background.

Gotcha day anniversary continues
White angle photograph of a black cat in a cat tree. The cat tree is wooden, with a circular cross-section and has lots of rods holding the different levels together. The cat is curled around 2/3 of the outside of one of the levels.

Behind the cat tree there are windows and a view to the city beyond.

Foam glyphs #PPortfolioOnBSky 371
A landscape photograph of a lakeshore, dark sand with brushings of white lower left curving to small rocks at the water, all in shade. Front right and back the lake is a dark blue, reflecting more sky further back. Alon the curve of the lakeshore and in several places in the water small bits of foam have formed strange connecting glyphs.

In the far back, the far shore and a volcanic island are seen picking up a bit of pre-sunset light, a thin sliver of sky is on top with soft clouds on a pale sky.

Oh no baby why are you making this judge learn about prompt injections
MEMORANDUM OF DECISION
COURT SANCTION FOR
PLAINTIFF'S USE OF PROMPT-INJECTION
This matter comes before the Court on its own Order to Show Cause. In reviewing the plaintiff's recent filings, the Court identified text that had been formatted to be invisible to a human reader while remaining fully legible to any software that reads the document's text. That concealed text is a set of instructions addressed to artificial-intelligence systems, directing any such system that reviews or analyzes the filing to produce output only favorable to the plaintiff's position and to treat a prior clerk's ruling as an error to be corrected in their favor. The Court issued its Order to Show Cause so that the plaintiff could be heard before the Court determined whether this occurred and, if so, what sanctions, if any, should follow.

Got Pointillism? #PPortfolioOnBSky 364
A photograph of autumn aspen trees in yellows, golds, orange. Most of what we can see is an almost pointillist spread of colorful dots, each a leaf, but a few trunks, most visibly two thin ones lower right, show through the mass of leaves.

Deep. #PPortfolioOnBSky 357

Probably the most dramatic canyon I've seen IRL, and I've seen some doozies. #PPortfolioOnBSky 354
A color photograph of a very steep, deep river canyon. The near walls of th canyon (a bit on the left, an enormous cliff face taking two-thirds of the image width right) are in shade, pink stones with somewhat lighter veins of rock. A river zigzags between, brightly reflecting sunlight, further walls are visible upper-left, colors muted and blued by haze.

I don't often do monochrome but monochrome suits the Black Canyon very well. #PPortfolioOnBSky 353
A black and white photograph, portrait orientation, of steep, deep, rocky valley. The right rim of the valley starts foreground with dark grey spires, beyond it the valley itself is decorated with clouds among the trees, beyond that the left rim rises to near the top left corner of the image, teh canyon continuing further again upper-right. Only a thin bit of sky is visible at the top.
