Sagal Abdi-Wali is English. Matt Goodwin is an academic. One of these statements is undeniably true. The other is open to debate.

I have children & grandchildren but am untroubled about what happens to my "precious" possessions. Most will end up in a skip, charity, or junk shop. If you're getting on get rid othem now if you think anyone might appreciate them. Don't leave a clearance problem behind you.

Let us not forget Ian Duncan Smith approving of and supporting his constituents destroying ULEZ cameras. Pretty direct encouragement of Khan hating too

It's the huge number of occasional and accidental visitors that decide this argument. Numbers almost impossible to discover & certainly not by looking at one's own motivations

Strangely every hedge, verge and path is littered with cans & bottles. Cheap booze from corner shops & supermarkets is closing pubs & encouraging drink driving, under age & problem drinking. Interesting would be reliable stats on effect of minimum pricing in Wales & Scotland

I don't know how easy it is to search for but there was plenty of appalling music in the venerated 1960s. Some of it produced by artists who still retained credibility after turning out such dross

If you miss a connection in Italy they are very good at changing your reservation, usually without charge. Bizarre then that to do this you must take your place in a long queue to have it done manually. Swiss trains and their staff deserve their reputation.

This is how much cheaper storage costs are getting year on year. (Solar similar). For any new gas and oilfields, by the time they start producing, in 5-10 years, the economic argument for them will make even less sense. bslbatt.com/blogs/curren...

I'll keep saying to anyone who might listen. No member of the senior school at Dulwich college when I was there, a decade before Farage, spent time in the junior School. It would have been considered odd but couple it with bullying racism and it's way out on the extreme fringes of behaviour.

That's a powerful and necessary message. It's an essential truth that we are often ignorant of the real life dramas being played out literally in the next street. It takes attention to appreciate how bad things can be for our neighbours.

Just a reminder, as some question religious influence in UK politics. There are only two major countries in the world that guarantee clergy to hold seats in parliament. The United Kingdom and Iran. The UK automatically seats 26 Bishops in the House Of Lords.

outcome of a not very wide gene pool at present. Not provided much of worth best was a steady postholder. There have been some horrors and much covering up of inadequates. A dull job if we insist on having done then most of us could hack it. An annual contract awarded by lottery and funded by same.

Critically, we also need the public to support actions that enable older people to live great lives without having to drive for when they fail the eye tests. So the public need to get onboard with no pavement parking, pedestrian priority, denser housing, fewer out-of-town shopping centres, etc etc
