Everyone needs to wee and poo every day. Access to toilets should simply be a public health and accessibility issue and not dependent on other people’s views of how much you “look like” a man or a woman. The EHRC has no clue about equalities and their priorities are shamefully discriminatory.

#WorldToiletDay is TODAY! 🚽 🔍Today, the London Loo Alliance will be touring the transport network to inspect some of TfL’s public toilet facilities to see which stations are ‘on a roll’ and which stations are ‘loos’ing out. ✅Follow @londonlooalliance.bsky.social for more details!

‼️The worry of not being able to find a toilet when out and about limits many people’s daily lives, forcing them to make much shorter journeys or stay very close to home. This can have detrimental impacts on people’s mental health and wellbeing. We are committed to changing this.

88% of respondents struggled to find a public toilet in London on one or more occasions in the last month.

Public toilet provision is a public health issue and an inequalities issue. Some members of the London Loo Alliance will be at City Hall today, hoping to move the importance of good provision up the agenda.
