Happy to report the Pinterest trick of adding profanity to searches to remove ads works on Facebook marketplace too
A clean interface of Facebook Marketplace listings for mid-century furniture in London, UK. Notably, the feed is completely devoid of intrusive advertisements. This pristine result is achieved via the user's specific, expletive-laden search term 'mid century shit' (clearly visible in the search bar above), which successfully acts as an alternative search protocol, prioritizing user experience over algorithmic promotion. A victory for direct curation.

Great example of a double height space that still feels cosy

The contrast between the sharp frame of 22 Parkside and the untamed garden is just lovely. Fab views from inside and out.

The only Quistgaard piece I've ever owned was this Dansk Kobenstyle Fondue pot which I sadly don't have anymore 🫕
A vintage mid-century modern red enamel fondue pot with a wooden handle sits on a black cast-iron burner stand on a wooden surface, set against a white beadboard wall backdrop.

Finally diving into the Jens Quistgaard coffee table book
A red book about Jens Quistgaard sits on a tableA book page displaying a historical design showcase. The top half features a vintage, illustrated advertisement for "Kobenstyle" cookware, showcasing an assortment of colorful mid-century modern pots, pans, and pitchers in red, green, yellow, and turquoise against a tan background. The bottom half displays an original technical design sketch drawn in blue ink on semi-translucent drafting paper, showing the cross-section and handle details of a pitcher, with the number "725" handwritten at the top.An open book displays a two-page photographic spread of numerous mid-century modern wooden pepper mills and salt shakers designed by Jens Quistgaard. The sculpted, dark brown teakwood pieces are arranged closely together in dense rows, showcasing a wide variety of geometric, turned, and architectural silhouettes against a clean white background.A high-angle, medium shot features a corkscrew with a brass-colored handle and a silver-colored frame against a white background.
