It’s crazy and I’m not sure I believe it. The truth is nowadays any real role is going to require flying to location and back constantly. Almost nothing lets you work and sleep in your own bed regularly. Except living near London and shooting there? Could be a black swan gig. We will find out!

Jackie Brown was just such a flex. He knew he had a schtick and he said, you know what, I can make a normal movie too and it will be great and have none of the stuff I am becoming famous for. And he did. Just great style, great performances, great storytelling.

I’ve seen it and I know next to nothing about him and it played like it was about a fictional person. No biopic vibes. It’s really nicely done and the director has a great track record. I recommend. But might play differently if you are more of a fan?
