Got my third-ever platinum trophy on PlayStation this week (I really don’t often feel like 100%ing things often). Spider-Man 2. First two were Spider-Man and Persona 5 Royal. Probably the weakest of the three games BUT its gameplay feel surpasses the first SM.

Was gifted Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for the Switch 2, and while not shocked it’s a huge file, it takes up HALF the Switch 2 storage space. After noticing this, my wonderful wife got me a Switch 2 micro sd card — I’m a lucky fella. FYI: Believe it’s the largest game currently on the console!

Besides some medical gaslighting many years ago, as an adult I present reliable/privileged & since we started this journey last year, Ive been believed. But my heart hurts for individuals who to this day are called “lazy” or “it’s all in your head” who are likely struggling with this undiagnosed

LC Appt Update: officially in the system, diagnosed Long Covid and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. The second has likely been lifelong with the LC having cranked it up. Puts so much of my life into context. More tests to get done. Back in 6-8 week. No treatment yet but the validation, I could cry.

Where cognitive resources are just as important to manage in long covid to avoid activating or worsening PEM I’ve created a rule for myself: if I see an opinion that makes me mad, I just get off my phone. It’s also a reminder to get off my phone. It’s actually been working pretty good this year.

Social media isn’t always great for my long-covid brain fog but I’m terrible at still just picking up my phone to look at times. So I’ve started gaming more on it. Recently bought this 8-bit-do controller. Phone fits perfectly, even with case on it. Holds firmly, very sturdy. Loving it so far.
