Edit one line in a 40 GB file, and your backup re-uploads nearly all of it. Nothing dedupes with Fixed-size chunking. Content-defined chunking sets boundaries by content so you store only what changed. Practical guide from our CTO @poolporg.bsky.social plakar.link/cdc

Update homelab : j'ai enfin des vrais backups sur mes containers Proxmox 🙌 Testé Plakar, ça marche nickel, tout est chiffré et part sur mon NAS chaque nuit automatiquement. Et un bot me prévient sur Discord si ça foire. Next step : un backup offsite en plus.

C'était intéressant vos réponses, et la "vraie" réponse était une longue attente d'I/O sur le réseau, comme peut l'illustrer mieux l'outil nmon ! Mais vous ne pouviez pas forcément le deviner. C'est un effet un backup avec plakar sur le réseau où celui-ci est un peu lent :)
