Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 11/10/2026When did Rachel and Betsy get a second dog? How many dogs do they have now? Has their first dog finally developed the ability to speak and also eat people? This is clearly the information that the readers of X-Men clamor for, @chrisyost.bsky.social! (Jokes aside, my preorder is in!) 130

Reposted by Jenn K. TidwellSteve Orlando (The) @thesteveorlando.bsky.social · 26/08/2026OUT TODAY! X-MEN OUTBACK #3! VERY proud of this issue! In some ways, one I've waited over 40 years to write--about family legacy, about belief in your potential, about the risk and might of friendship...and about kicking the shit out of necromancers. ДАВАЙ! 7266
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 26/08/2026The Rasputins and the Braddocks exploring their magic together! ❤️ I loved the image of this: after all that Betsy and Piotr are like, "You know what? Let's just be very... good FRIENDS!" And then over in Excalibur at this same time Rachel and Kitty are... "roommates." 000
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I am not against Quicksilver/Monet, but I can't lie I will be very frustrated if they get to stay together but Rachel and Betsy have to break up... because they get to be lovey dovey with significantly less build up and no one cares. I have to listen to people claiming Retsy went too fast. BS. 030
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 29/07/2026I love the Jorge Jimenez series of couple covers for DC and wondered what a Rachel Summers/Betsy Braddock version would look like. What do you think? 🦋🔥 041
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 23/07/2026@chrisyost.bsky.social I gotta ask: how do you feel about the X-Men's Lesbian Space Jesus? Because I see her lady, and I see flowers in her lady's hair...? 000
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 13/06/2026It's tragic that we never got to see these "recent events" that lead Betsy to decide that going out to save the world wasn't worth the risk. Did what happened to that town remind her of Archangel? Was she afraid she was going to fail Rachel the way she failed Warren? #X-Force 051
Reposted by Jenn K. TidwellJosh Hilden @joshhilden.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Since it's Pride Month, I feel like sharing my favorite queer comic book couple. Betsy Braddock and Rachel Summers. Do you have a favorite queer comic book couple? 0103
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 09/06/2026You can tell @thesteveorlando.bsky.social understands Betsy Braddock because he writes her pouting over a cocktail in front of a pretty red-head and a Summers. 082
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 27/05/2026I had hesitation going into Psylocke but it has a lot to add to Betsy and Elektra and I appreciate that. I wish their strong friendship carried into the present. Also it was interesting to revisit this time with fuller knowledge of Betsy as a queer person who struggled with an eating disorder. 070

Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Apparently Catholicism is making a comeback in Britain. It is also the 50th anniversary of Marvel's Captains Britain, the Catholic-guilt personified fairy twins. One of whom is also a purple haired queer lady. Coincidence?! ....Yes, undoubtedly. 😄 051
Reposted by Jenn K. TidwellJim @jimsweesketches.bsky.social · 18/04/2026Another of my favourite X-Men is Rachel Summers, no code name required, particularly from her Excalibur days. She was such a rough cookie! I remember her being all punk confidence. What do you think about Rachel? What’s your favourite take on her? #xmen #phoenix #rachelsummers #instagay #fanart 2466
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 08/04/2026I really appreciate that @hackintimseeley.bsky.social combined Betsy's weird love of Summers with her love of women who wear red into a poignant scene in this issue of Psylocke Ninja. 😄 (If only there was a Summers girl who wore a lot of red... You'll find her one day, Bets!) 1111
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 06/04/2026I hope that Betsy (allegedly) being in the Hellfire Murder one-shot means we're close to a Rachel/Betsy comeback era. It's been too long since October. 020
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/03/2026With the question about Betsy guesting I will say, it is hilarious to me that the X-Force team that immediately follows her last stint includes her ex and her girlfriend's brother. Coincidence, @hackintimseeley.bsky.social? 🤔😄 000

Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 28/02/2026I keep seeing people complaining about how much inner dialogue "Psylocke: NInja" has as though that isn't the entire point of the book. To learn how the brainwashing affected and ultimately changed Betsy's mental state and character moving forward. 040
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 17/02/2026When Psylocke: Ninja sold out, people were making weird excuses like, "Well the stores didn't order a lot probably so of course it sold out," or, "Maybe they just didn't make a lot of the comics to begin with." It being in the Top 20 of comics last month kind of moots those points. 020

Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/01/2026"The book wouldn't have sold well if it was called 'Betsy Braddock'!" Yeah, no duh, and I imagine Psylocke V2 wouldn't have sold as well if it was called 'Kwannon', that's why they superheroes have superhero names! 040
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Thank you! Really enjoyed how this consolidated the story for new readers. :) 010
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Right, I just thought that him saying it would take "more than" was a reference to them calling in Spiral. 😅 110
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Question for you if I may, @hackintimseeley.bsky.social! I saw you mention Spiral won't be involved in the story but was wondering if this was kind of meant to be a wink and a nod (an IFYKY) moment for her involvement in the swap? That's how I read it at least. 200
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 24/01/2026It seems to be for new readers who are confused by the misinformation on the internet about the swap since Kwannon became Psylocke. People who don't know about Betsylocke's original stories, the retcon, her kidnapping, etc. 000
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 15/01/2026There's been debate about whether or not the Braddocks are Catholics or Anglicans, as they are aristocracy but have been called Catholic on page... and I'm kind of wondering if "Bloody Bess," originally meant to be a Betsy variant, isn't also a reference to their Catholicism? 030

Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 22/12/2025An added bonus is that Bess and Nightcrawler, Rachel's ex, were lovers. I think that Bess should take the Revanche codename, it'd be fitting. She'd have a lot to try and reclaim after discovering she's just a copy. (Obviously that isn't 'canon' but it SHOULD be.) 010
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 22/12/2025I am obsessed with the idea of a Crimson Dawn miniseries exploring Bloody Bess's connection to Betsy and Kwannon, and how she would feel about Ray. We know what happens when people threaten Rachel, but how would Betsy react if the person hurting her was someone who shared a piece of Betsy's soul? 130
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 05/12/2025I was really hoping with all the OG Psylocke love we got in X-Force and also Puzzle Quest this year that Marvel knew we wanted THIS version revisited, if any. Maybe we'll get some references to it in Ninja? 030
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 04/12/2025October really spoiled me as a Rachel/Betsy shipper with that novel about how Ray is the love of B's life. I need them back. And I need their demi-god from the multiverse/fae of Otherworld dynamic more thoroughly explored. 030
Jenn K. Tidwell @jktidwell.bsky.social · 08/11/2025I really love how these covers make his modern suit look. Can you say if he's going to be leaving Adjectiveless for this series? Or are we able to get a double dose! 110
