Pockets of dense fog have developed across parts of eastern
Kentucky early this morning, with visibility reduced to below
one-quarter mile in some locations. These conditions may persist
until near or shortly after sunrise before the fog begins to lift
or burn off.

You should expect to encounter sharp reductions in visibility if
traveling through the remainder of the overnight. Use low-beam
headlights, allow yourself extra time to reach your destination,
and increase your separation distance from other vehicles.

At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional light rainfall is ongoing across the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Letcher, Bath, Vicco, Blackey, Carbon Glow, Carcassonne, David,
Gander, Redfox, Cody, Jeremiah, Indian Bottom, Dirk, Carr Creek,

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Knox County in southeastern Kentucky...

* WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 607 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will allow minor flooding to persist
or worsen.

Dewitt, Walker, Barnyard, Scalf, Old Flat Lick, Baughman, Salt
Gum, Hammond, Flat Lick, Himyar, Bimble, Yeager, Mills, Avis,
