Sweden is in an interesting spot. They’re 3rd and through with a draw, but could be in 1st with a win depending on the Dutch result. However, should they lose, they’re in a nervy spot. 3 points with a negative GD, they’ll have to wait for the rest of the matches to finish before they know their fate

Group F is where things get fun. Netherlands and Japan are through, and Sweden is on the cusp, but the placements of this group are wide open. The Netherlands is leading Japan solely on goals scored, so their respective matches could be shootouts as both teams look to get the goals advantage.

Group E is also pretty simple: the winner of Ivory Coast-Curaçao will go through. A draw puts Ivory Coast through. Ecuador is also through if they beat Germany.

Here’s what today’s World Cup matches mean: (NOTE: I am assuming that the 3rd place cutoff for qualification will be at 3 points, so 4 points should be enough to qualify) Group D is simple: the winner of Australia-Paraguay goes through (in 2nd place). A draw will put them both through.

Stop disenfranchising mid-major sports.

000

The powers that be will not be happy until college sports is exclusively the SEC, some of the Big Ten, and a select few others. They’d rather see mid-majors go away than give them even a shred of respect.

I don’t care what conference you’re in, going sub-.500 in conference play should be an automatic eliminator. Mercer went 44-15 but will miss the tournament because apparently the THIRTEENTH (13TH) place SEC team is more deserving??? Give me a break

Mercer got absolutely robbed and should be in NCAA Regionals over Kentucky, argue with a wall

This hurts. Kyle’s the one who got me into racing as a kid. I’m just at a complete loss right now. Rest in Peace, 18 💛💙❤️💚

In honor of Ted Turner's passing, MLB should force every team owner to manage tonight's games just to see how singularly ridiculous things get

It’s Day 3 of the #CharitibundiBowl, and I wanted to celebrate it by honoring the 2025 Tulane football team, which won the American 34-21 over North Texas to claim the school’s first-ever CFP berth!

Day 2 of the #CharitibundiBowl brings some fun facts about the Bell, the trophy for the Tulane-Southern Miss rivalry: 1. The Bell was first played for in 1999, 20 years after the rivalry began. 2. The home team has lost each of the last 4 non-neutral site games. 3. It’s currently held by Tulane.

Donation page for the Charitibundi Bowl. Donor is giving $30.51 (plus fees) in Tulane’s name, $9.48 (because Tulane has held the Bell over Southern Miss for 948 days) + $21.03 (because Tulane beat Southern Miss 21-3 in Hattiesburg the last time the two teams faced off)

I will never be able to say enough good things about the 2023 Cotton Bowl. Being drum major for that game was the experience of a lifetime. RMFW 🌊🌊

I was thinking Wayne Rooney DC United kit for the memes, but then I remembered that kit basically went double-platinum those two seasons

Tulane PG Rowan Brumbaugh has transferred to SMU. Was the AAC Player of the Year last year, and earned 2nd-team All-AAC this year.

It is significantly more fun to be a Braves fan this year than in 2025.
