Put a shelf under the island in Daily Streaks for goals that are not today's problem. A title, and a note about how I'll get there. My head was that shelf, and it kept dropping things. 📌 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I have a talent for forgetting which episode I was on and then pretending I meant to start over. TV Tracker: search, posters, mark watched, calendar of what's next. Notes and ratings if you're that person. Free, TVmaze under the hood. Bedtime, sorted. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Scroll to Learn now has a Daily deck — five cards from different topics every morning. Same calm swipe, less “which rabbit hole?” I wanted a Factly-sized ritual without turning Wikipedia into homework. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Spent the evening making Climate Hero look like those nature apps that make you want to go outside. Full-bleed forests, glass buttons, action cards that feel like postcards. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

The island in Daily Streaks was tiles on a plain card. I gave it a sky, a little crest, and buttons that look like a palette, a storybook, and a calendar. A check-off should feel like walking into a place you like. 🌳 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

When you catch up, TV Tracker can mark the show finished for you. I am tired of shows living in Watching forever like houseplants I forgot to water. 🪴 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I wanted to 'read more Wikipedia' in the same way I want to 'go to the gym'. Scroll to Learn is the version I actually do: swipe short lessons, fourteen topics, save the keepers, tap through when you're properly curious. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Started a climate-action app that turns “do your bit” into categories you can actually finish — travel, food, energy, the lot. Wikipedia photos so each step feels real, not abstract. Feels hopeful in a way spreadsheets never did. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily rituals in Climate Hero reset tomorrow — meat-free today isn't the same as "installed a heat pump forever." Tiny distinction, huge for sticking with it. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

There's a pie of assets vs liabilities on the overview. Some months it's inspiring. Some months it's a roast with slices. Either way I stop guessing. 🥧 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily Streaks island can have a name now. A bird, a fox, an owl, or a turtle shows up on days you actually check in, and the journey keeps the days that grew land. I wanted the map to remember you. 🦊 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily Streaks grew an island. Check off a habit and it becomes a tree, a path, or a mountain if it mattered. Save it for tomorrow and a river shows up instead. I wanted the list to feel like a place. 🏝️ #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Renamed the climate-action app to Climate Hero. "Bit" was cute; "Hero" is the energy you get after finishing three weekly challenges and realizing you kind of like this. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily Streaks can time a habit now. Start it, stop it, or add five minutes. I wanted the week total, the number that says how the day actually went. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I put a theme shop on an alarm clock, which sounds unserious until 6am. Malibu, Nightlight, Fire — tap a gradient and the morning looks like a choice, not a sentence. Pro unlocks the whole paintbox. 🌅 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Shipped a real footprint quiz in Climate Bit — diet, flights, heating, the lot — plus a little chart that drops as you finish actions. Comparing yourself to another country’s average is weirdly motivating. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Shield Money can block a category when you're over the monthly budget. It's the friend who takes your card at the pub, except it's a toggle and I still argue with it. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Some mornings I open my phone and immediately regret it. Factly is the opposite — one random fact, tap for another if you're greedy, share the good ones. A nudge so you don't forget. A 20-second win before the inbox. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I don't need to delete Instagram. I need it to stop being a slot machine. Doombreak blocks the apps you pick (real Screen Time shields on iOS), or keeps Instagram at DMs and profiles with no Reels. Free. I made it for 9pm-me. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I built Shield Money because I was tired of opening three apps to answer 'am I fine?'. Income, spending by day, budgets, goals, net worth on a chart. It's looking in the fridge before you shop, but for your bank accounts. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Map mode in Irish Property: pins aren’t just dots anymore. Each one can carry a tiny street timeline — years of sales on that road as a sparkline, price tucked under. Neighbourhood story without leaving the map 📍 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

None of these apps make you create an account to tick a habit or log a fiver. Your data lives on the phone. I like the internet. I don't like a login wall between you and Tuesday. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily Streaks is a year of dots, not a to-do list having a panic attack. Stretch is on a 50-day flame, yoga's at 89, water is still waiting at 88 — rude, I made the app. Sleep gets its own category so it doesn't have to share with Focus. 🔥 #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Doombreak has Beast Mode because 'please don't open TikTok' wasn't stern enough. Pick the apps, pick how long, Screen Time actually means it. Named it after the version of me that exists before breakfast. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

If you've ever doomscrolled Daft then opened the Price Register like homework — Irish Property is the bit in between. Browse real sales, map them, compare towns, and ask what salary that sold price implies. Public data, finally acting like a friend. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Sunrise Alarm got a Wake quest: one easy math tap or a soft stretch before dismiss. Anti-snooze that feels like a friend, not a drill sergeant. ☀️ #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Doombreak already had filtered Instagram — DMs without Reels. Now YouTube keeps Search and Subscriptions but cuts Shorts, and TikTok keeps Following but loses For You. Same trick, noisier apps. I needed my evenings back from both. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

TV Tracker is my 'where was I' app. Search shows, posters in a library, mark episodes, calendar of what's next. Notes, ratings, favorites. All free, powered by TVmaze. How it's going: it's the app I actually check before bed. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Analytics in Daily Streaks is me vs me. 348 days logged, best streak 89, Grace Day so one miss doesn't torch it. Yoga's wearing gold, water's silver, stretch is 50 and 100% this week. Medals because competing with strangers made me quit. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I kept putting closing costs and affordability in different corners of Irish Property. Stacking them on the same sale felt like admitting they were answering the same nervous question. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Daily Streaks can live on the Home Screen — today's progress, best streak, the habit you're pretending isn't the main one. I glance while the kettle boils. That's the whole relationship. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

I keep rewriting what "no snooze" means. In Sunrise Alarm it is a tiny quest — answer or stretch — then the day. Mean alarms are so 2014. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

J.J @jjcooldev.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Reworked Factly so it feels like a tiny morning ritual again — one fact a day, tap if you want another, share the one that made you smile. Reminder so you don't miss it. Learning that 'small and daily' is harder to get right than it sounds. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS

Settings in Daily Streaks is where I hide the personality. Light on, uppercase off — I am not yelling at my own water. Haptics off. Classic list, not Compact. The gentle nudge stays Off because I already live here. #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #ProductHunt #SaaS
