The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Yes! This is wolf spun Gotland lamb. Wolf spinning is a technique Judith MacKenzie pioneered in the 70s- essentially a core-less boucle. Gotland is a tricky fiber but I love it maintained in lock form. My intention was to spin enough to weave a blanket but it was a LOT of yarn and I never finished! 000
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 08/10/2026This is Henry. She’s blind, 11 years old, and gets around by tapping things with her beak. We thought she didn’t have much time left 2 years ago but here she is still kickin. We setup their run to accomodate her specifically so she can find food and water and she even has her own special swing. 1353
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 07/10/2026In case you weren’t aware, geese get pool zoomies 0131
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Charlie has to come show me her wings every time she gets out of her freshly filled pool 1295
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Nah most are just aggressive mine love me too hard lol 010
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 07/10/2026My geese suffer what I can only describe as love aggression 1140
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Charlie sometimes likes to stop by for a head scratch 1182
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I barely have knit this year but I did manage to finish this lightweight wrap from handspun held with baby suri. No pattern I just made it up as I went 1210
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Often what fiber looks like in combed top is pretty different than the final result. Optical mixing ends up blending and muting colors way more than you expect (sometimes a good or bad thing) 3151
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Thanks! For detailed shots of individual skeins you can check out my Instagram page www.instagram.com/cocaknitter?...instagram.comInstagramCreate an account or log in to Instagram - Share what you're into with the people who get you. 010
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 05/10/2026For the amount of time and money this took it’s basically about the same effect!!! 😄 130
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I love the way the Roly Poly creates handspun yarn cakes as it really highlights the color transitions 1293
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 05/10/2026A whole lotta handspun yarn (this is only about half of it) 918412
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Oh man- be careful what you wish for I’ve got a million more videos 161
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Do you guys also just get random fucking middle of your workday calls from your healthcare provider, banks, whoever who leave vague voicemails about telling you about your benefits or some shit and I am supposed to call them back for what? To solve my burning curiosity? Tell me in the VM or fuck off 1150
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Everyone needs to repost this v. Imp. Information the world needs to know about altruistic roostering 0141
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 03/10/2026So my favorite rooster behavior is they sing a “tasty treat” song for their ladies and the hens come RUNNING over and Walter will sacrifice his OWN tasty treats so they can get as much as they want first and even points it out to them on the ground 🥹 what a guy! 612828
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 03/10/2026When you have a 3D printer there are infinite silly possibilities of stuff to make like this thing 060
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Omg This is the kindest comment I’ve ever gotten on here! 🥹 120
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I 3D printed a PETG mold and then used a heat gun to form the PLA flat printed pumpkin 030
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 26/09/2026It’s sad because this really could’ve been a moment for Cleveland but instead the most Ohio thing happened to them 😭 020

The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026If you are a company that uses these types of product stickers just know that I’m learning how to be a witch just so I can curse 1000 future generations of your ancestry 1180
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Handspun, handknit buns. Pattern by the genius that is Claire Garland. 2222
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I’m glad this looks delightful rather than overwhelming as sometimes I look around and go “what am I doing to myself this is all just too much” 😅 and then I put it all away but it’s all dragged out within the week again 010
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Also if you ever are the unfortunate benefactor of a viral Video, I just hope no part of your body, voice, or loved ones are featured because be prepared for them to eat you alive. Every worst fear about yourself will become amplified through the lens of 1M idiots hiding behind their keyboards 110
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I mostly use the internet in “read only” mode as sort of a lazy diary of sorts or to keep my lonely elderly relatives updated so it’s a little weird when 100k randos start commenting stupid shit on my chicken videos for grandma 040
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026“Going viral” which I guess I’ve done a handful of times, largest being about 20M views on TikTok, isn’t an appealing or desirable goal and mostly just an odd novelty when it happens that quickly becomes annoying and in some cases makes me want to quit the internet permanently 020
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Capitalism is a shark that always needs to eat and I’m just a shark that prefers water fasting 030
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I had a video go mega viral on Instagram and some big “viral video” accounts reached out and asked if they could feature my video and credit me in order to “drive traffic to my channel” and imagine their confusion when I politely decline with “no thank you, I’d prefer less traffic to my page” 5230
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Literally this. My 20 acres of overgrown blackberry is my gym 😅 110
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Same here- I’m never “just watching tv” I’m watching while doing something because I’m going to run out of life before I finish all of my ideas!! 010
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026This is also a good time to remind everyone of my favorite German insult “hobbyloses Verhalten” which is basically “hobbyless behavior” 😅 062
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026The question by far I hear more than any other is “do you ever sleep? Where do you find the time?” And it’s puzzling to me because I am just as puzzled at how all other humans pass time. 250
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Like my coworkers are always shocked by the projects I do over the weekend but what they seem to do is mostly watch tv or go to the gym 240
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Semi-serious question/self-roast: if your weekends don’t look *something* like this, what do you even DO to make life meaningful? I know “raising kids” but even my maker friends with young children find the time. 5191
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Carding up a small mountain of lamb’s wool from Genopalette farm on my new majacraft cards 0121
The Fiber Farm (Jen) @jjco.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Did you know you could knit light? This even has some fussy lace stitching in it. Hurt my wrists though to knit 5320
