This art piece shows Zoro, sitting on his knees, dressed in his captain of the guard medieval uniform (inspired by armors from the XII century), his helmet by his side on the ground. His has Sanji’s head resting on his thighs, the poor prince gotten beat up by his brothers earlier, now laying unconscious in his cell. He wears a typical noble shirt in a simple form.
Zoro is looking tenderly at Sanji, simply falling in love, caressing the prince’s jaw with his calloused hands that are used to war and blood.

Behind them, the foggy presence of the prison bars and right above it, the title of the Sanzo fanfiction “Sanctuary”, the typography being inspired by the illuminated manuscripts of the middle age period with a big representation of a “dragon” making the capital “S” alongside flowers and plants.

The topics I had to complete: Flirting through fighting, Hanahaki, Arranged marriage, What the future holds and Domesticity!

Zoro is getting the news (around Zou arc) that Sanji is getting married with Pudding. His whole world collapsed, thinking back of the good times with the blond cook, fighting together and flirting.

Suddenly he starts vomiting flowers, which is the sign of hanahaki disease and since he is vomiting whole flowers, he’s on advanced stage of the illness.

In the last panels, Zoro is checking his pulse with two fingers, a trail of blood coming down from his mouth as footsteps can be heard. Nami gives a hug from behind, tightening her grip and promises to him that they will bring back Sanji on Whole Cake Island, crying silently.
