It was good and i thought the performances were good but I feel the "heartless producer who will do anything for views" thing is kinda played out. like that was the plot of Network 50 years ago. one thing about metroid that's always bothered me is that it feels like samus should prefer to have use of both hands instead of one being a big cannon. i think they should have made it so that she lost that arm in The War or something so that having the cannon there instead makes sense

I think if streaming services want to add ads to their platforms it's fine. But only if the ads play at the beginning or end of the show and not interrupting it. If there have to be five minutes of ads before the movie starts that's fine. But don't interrupt the show. that's the dealbreaker

I think my light addiction to caffeine is ramping up slightly, in that I have a caffeine withdrawal headache even after drinking my daily one cup of coffee. It might be that my daily follow up lunchtime Coke Zero has caused my addiction to be to specifically two things of caffeine per day

Watched Resident Evil film. Best part was the way Austin Abrams kept muttering and cursing to himself the whole time. "Fuckin...goddamn fuckin monster people!" Appreciated all the video gamey bits but maybe didn't get as much from it as i would if I'd ever played any of the games. Pretty fun, 3.5/5
